IMIDETEX®
Heat resistant, high strength, low moisture absorption polyimide fiber
IST has developed “IMIDETEX”, a high-strength polyimide fiber based on a unique technology. This super fiber has a high strength of 3.0GPa and has a continuous usable temperature of over 250 ℃. In addition, it has a low water absorption rate (1%) and excellent UV resistance, so it can be used in harsh temperature environments that could not be used with conventional para-aramid fibers.
